This photograph is a little more heavily editted than the ones I usually post on this blog, but it still represents its general theme of patterns derived from nature. In this case, it’s a photograph of tree branches against the sky which I have copied, rotated and flipped three time before joining the copies to the original as a set of four non-overlapping tiles. This created the beautifully symmetric fractal image that is the subject of this post.
